Automated Code Review for Power Apps
AppReview for Power Apps is a free Chrome add-on developed by WyattDave. It offers an automated code review for Canvas Power Apps, allowing users to upload their solution or legacy app zip to extract key information from the Power App and solution. This includes experimental settings, screens, components, variables, formulas, connections, data sources, flows, environment variables, tables, test scripts, and code review scoring/flags.
One of the key features of AppReview is the ability to view all component code in one screen, providing a comprehensive overview of the app's code structure. Additionally, it highlights the connection privileges used, giving developers valuable insights into their app's data access.
While still in beta, AppReview for Power Apps promises upcoming features such as a site map diagram and the ability to select if the solution includes more than one canvas app. The developer welcomes feedback and bug reports to further improve this tool.
Please note that AppReview for Power Apps is a Chrome add-on and is only compatible with Canvas Power Apps.
